Flames and Lemons

Mads Mikkelsen stars as the Lemon in this movie about Denmark during the German occupation in World War II. The Flame and the Lemon were two people of the resistance named Bent Faurschou-Hviid and Jørgen Haagen Schmith who opposed the Germans during the fall of 1944. One day the Flame is ordered to kill his girl-friend, the beautiful and mysterious Ketty. This leads him to doubt his organisation and mistrust the men he protects.

Flames and Lemons is based on stories from eye-witness and is the most expensive danish production so far.
